How would Gandhi handle the Gators?
When you get right down to it, we are talking about kids, someone's
son, someone's grandson. The key to this game for me is our own
excellence.
Gators are not our enemy, actually they may prove to be the best
friend we have at this moment.
Our goals are to graduate every player, win the WAC and go to a bowl
game. I believe the Gators will help us do that.
TG and others are jamming on academics in order to play. No way they
will fail to graduate now.
The challenge of the Florida game for any team in a rebuilding year is
borderline,no, pure madness. To travel to the furthest extreme of the
US to play, well it is pure fantasy now.
But the greatest victories emerge from the greatest adversities and
this game holds our biggest opportunity to prove the proverb.
We must embrace the moment. All of us. Embrace the team as the path to
glory. Embrace their fans as family, for do they not want the same for
their children as we?
If we enter this arena as fans and players with a Gandhi attitude,
victory is assured. The victory will be over our own fear. The prize
will be self-determination.
Warriors must believe and put love in their hearts. So much love that
there is nor room for fear.
How appropriate that the movie on the plane was Kung Fu Panda. The
team should watch it the night before the game.
