Rain on our Parade?
I drove to Kekaha this morning to attend to some business and was greeted by a lovely rainbow!
Heading back towards Waimea, the sky was spectacular.
Here's the Doppler right now- it has been stormy and rainy and the drive home from work this afternoon was a slow, careful journey to avoid hydroplaning on the many patches of standing water on the highway.
Here is the forecast for the rest of the week. I hope it doesn't rain on the Waimea Light Parade on Saturday! We'll be building our Rotary Float this week.
1 Comments:
Remember the 40 day rain we had in March-April 2006? A lot of homes got flooded, and Hamilton Library sustained millions of dollars in damage.
Let's hope the rain we've been having doesn't last 40 days, too!
