New Year "Traditions"
Happy 2009!
There area lot of things that people do to start the new year. My friend Margaret gave me the fixins to start off honoring Japanese traditions. I made and ate myuk-kook or seaweed soup- which is a Korean tradition. Relatives were called to wish them a happy new year. Here is sleepy Steven talking to his cousin Doug in Florida.
Of course, there is the mandatory rain storm that shows up when you want to go fishing. But that did not stop me or these remarkable fishers- Mrs. O. and Mrs. Y.
Of course, there is the Rose Bowl (congrats, Abe Markowitz!) and speaking of football, I got my Chief Zee is my Homeboy tee shirt. Chief Zee is the unofficial mascot of the Washington Redskins.
All the best for a WONDERFUL 2009!

Glad you had a good day yesterday! Please give my best regards to your family and Margaret.
Yep, it rained on Oahu also, but stopped when we went out.
Blessings!
