Aloha Lilu
As I write, Lilu is somewhere over the ocean between Kauai and Portland. Hopefully she is fast asleep- also giving her parents a nice break in their busy days and nights with a precocious one-year old.
The morning started with a lovely frittata/omelet and peek-a-boo through the louvers at their home-away-from-home Kiahuna Plantation in Poipu.
After checking out, we stopped for one last delicious gelato at Poipu Village Shopping Center and stopped to meet my boss - but you can see Lilu was not feeling well and was very antsy.
We went over to Aaron and Ali's house for last minute laundry and yummy chicken piccata dinner. Lilu got some medicine to help her feel better on the trip home and Steven and I saw them off at the airport.
The two weeks just zipped by! Bon voyage, Lilu and family! See you soon!

Seriously? Two weeks? That sure went by quickly. I hope everyone had a great time and keeps all those good memories alive. Those will be some great stories you will be able to tell Lilu one day!!!
Like Bulla says, "Make memories!"
yes, make memories! I hope they are able to vacation on Kauai every year.
I am hopeful Lilu and family are safe and sound at home.
Is your home too quiet? I think that is the worst part for me once everyone leaves after visiting.
My house was quiet- Michele likes the cool weather so Waimea is not her favorite place. I did have fun with sis and hubby who stayed with us, tho!
I enjoyed seeing everyone seated around the new dining table tho. That was very special to me.
