Betta splendens larvae and black marble papa
These fish are a few days old now- still in larval stage but able to chase, catch and eat baby brine shrimp. Your can see their bodies developing. They have nice dark "Egyptian eyes" which show their black marble heritage. Their swim bladders are forming and digestive systems are processing their food.
Here is papa black marble. He's finally a pet fish in my office now. Hope his babies are as pretty as he is!
Sorry for the clicks. It's my old camera focusing on macro.

yup. the photos themselves are awesome, never mind the vids. Good thing about fish, they don't bark or get in cat fights.
"Egytian Eyes". Does that mean they are just dark eyes?
Awesome pix and vid!!!
See you in a few days! Whoo-hoo!!!
They look like they have dark eyeliner. Reds and other non-blacks don't have that feature.
Yup- Sheraton Hawaii Bowl, her we come! Now- what to wear???
