West Kauai Rotary Honors the poet Robert Burns
Dave Walker (shown with myself and fellow Tsai-ko tunalvr - who is also our event's executive chef) is the heart and soul of West Kauai Rotary Club's Robert Burns Supper. A true Scot, Dave has been instrumental in reviving interest in Scottish culture on Kauai. Our west side heritage is what it is largely due to the influence of the Sinclair family who emigrated from Scotland via New Zealand. Their descendants continue to care for the lands here and on Niihau.

We created a little perimeter using banners from clubs whose members visited ours. This is a tribute to the "International" perspectives that Rotary shares with its members.

Cool videos, Liz!
Interesting tartan pattern for the Hahn clan.
So that is tunalvr! A chef, no less!!!
The banner barricade was an interesting way to display all of the little banners from visitors over the years. Informative and functional.
Looks like a nice crowd! I hope everyone had a great time.
THIS IS SO WEIRD!!!! I clicked on the 2 videos of your Scottish function, and all of a sudden, Colt Brennan's voice could be heard talking about his function in Honolulu yesterday.
Was that deliberate, Liz? Did you superimpose Colt with bagpipe music in the background???
Hi GG!
Videos worked fine for me. You sure you are not hearing things?
I think Colt is waaaaay too young for you.
Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
Gigi- the voice is coming from the embedded video a couple of days ago.
