Christmas fish and surf

I zipped home from Honolulu early this morning to feed my baby fish who were left unattended for 24 hours.
They were HUNGRY!

They gobbled up their baby brine shrimp until they were fat and sleepy.

On the way home I decided that this is the only time I can really breed fish because of upcoming trips. They need to be big enough to live in a community tank on flake food that my kids can provide while I'm gone.

Here is the grizzled male - he has the fluffiest fins I have ever seen- way more than a halfmoon!




Steven went out early this morning and caught some folks and their rides.

What a nice way to spend Christmas morning, huh?
