Tutu Lali and Names

Jason's mom Lali (short for Natalie) has arrived from Wisconsin.

A Lily by any other Name blog has been edited to match recent consultations.

Michele thought Arie Ray sounded too much like arare- a popular Hawaiian snack.
To save her from the inevitable moniker, Arie was changed to Arin- homage to Jason's dad and Michele's brother Aaron (and closer to her own middle name Awen, which was actually supposed to be Arwen as in the Tolkien character).

Mahalo to Auntie Diana and Uncle Kekoa, Auntie Ilei and Auntie Nono for sharing their manao on her Hawaiian name Lu'ukia. The name was chosen and accepted graciously!
