Happy Birthday, Sis!

My sister is as old as the state of Hawaii.

True story.
Back in 1959, dad sent mom to Hawaii (I was stuck back in Wisconsin and had to take a road trip with dad to New York in a black panel truck that summer.) so my sister could be born in the brand new 50th state!

One child born in the greatest city in America (me) and the other in the newest city in America (her). Pretty auspicious.

Of course, now I live in Hawaii and she lives on the east side of America in Florida and grows all kinds of fruits and veggies, makes fabulous desserts and catches ridiculous amounts of fish.

 Happy Birthday, Norma!

Try JibJab Sendables® eCards today!

OK- here are the pix from Birthday fishing- but where are the fish???

Happy birthday, Norma!

Funny how you both switched coasts.

Always like those Jib-Jab animations. Hilarious! Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!

happy birthday, Norma! Just 50 years old? Still a youngie. Remember when you were 50 not too long ago?

When I was 50, I was still working in a law firm. ugh. awful experience.

Times change and I am now an author. Life is so much sweeter.
