The Warriors and Chris Cooley
This was a big football weekend for me- with extreme highs and lows.
On Saturday, the UH Warriors faced BCS opponent Washington State at Quest Field in Seattle- the first of three away games in a row.
I enjoyed the game with part of last year's Kauai fan folks at Rob's Goodtimes Grill in Lihue.

I flew my UH flags for two days. I even ate sensibly in the company of good friends! The game ended in a very good way for Hawaii!
On Sunday, my Redskins, sans Colt Brennan who is on injured reserve, opened the season versus the Giants. It was largely a disappointing game but my favorite player Chris Cooley showed up for work and did his part to advance the play and scored!
Mahalo to Brian Murphy, aka- Murf- aka Homer McFanboy for his great pictures.
To end on a happy note, I was inspired by Gary's "Hungry" and "Humble" custom Warrior Scotts and celebrated the UH victory and upcoming game in Las Vegas with a special pedicure and manicure yesterday.

Hi Aunty Liz! It was great meeting you & the other Tsaikettes at the Wahine Clinic. Love the "H" nail decal. I'm thinking of getting the same thing done on my toes! Go Warriors! Go Skins!
