Family Tree
Remember the stepping stone I made at my sister's house in FL? Well, they are creating the "family tree" with the family stones.
What a cool idea!
Tomorrow is a big football day for us. We'll be tailgating down at Pearl Harbor before the UH game with San Jose State.
Good luck to the GA Bulldogs who face Alabama tomorrow... and good luck to the Washington Redskins who go up against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday!

Hauoli Lahanau
Today, two of my Tsai-ko friends are celebrating birthdays.
"UHFan808" (w/glasses- shown with "evil twin" Midori7 and homey under wraps)
and freshman center at USC Abe (Hawaii5-0) Markowitz. You may remember that it was Abe (and his dad) that gifted me with my first sideline passes at Aloha Stadium for the Hula Bowl.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Oh yeah- LiLu cut her first tooth yesterday! And she LOVES to eat poi!

Now you see it- now you don't
My daughter Michele was blessed with a beautifully-shaped head and long, flowing locks.
When LiLu arrived, I knew it was going to be just a matter of time before her hair would provide too many pulling opportunities for the nursing baby.
Can't have a blog entry without seeing LiLu on the verge of crawling!

So Michele decided to revisit her short hair period and make a donation to Locks of Love.

Oregon Tsai-ko Fun
I know it's a bit late but despite the outcome of the game, the Tsai-kos were still fun to be with! Thanks, brew808 for the memories:
Breakfast at Elmers with the Tsai-kos. I love meeting "old friends" for the first time!
Mongolian BBQ crew. Note the stylish slinky dress and tennis shoes look.
That's to accommodate the plantar fasciitis and boullous pemphigoid situation.
At the game- these pix are for my hair stylist Mahea- nice cut!

My fave Washington Redskins
Not every day a pic comes up of my two favorite football players in DC:
From Chris Cooley's Blog:
A great tradition began three years ago. Ristorante Bonaroti is what I consider the best resturant in the entire DC/Virgina area. Wait, really if I think about it my favorite resturante of all time. In just three years I have so many great memories there. The owner Sergio and his wife Noel are two of the best people I have ever been around.
So anyways, back to the tradition. For the last three years we have been eating there before every home game. It's always been Yoder and I, sometimes we incorporate some different faces (Colt Brennan tonight), but me and Yodes have never missed.
