Nothing like a Rainn-y Day to cheer you up!

There is a group of wonderfully talented people that are making me smile A LOT these days!

It started with the aforementioned Andy Grammer and Devon Gundry - whom you can find using the SEARCH button on this blog. Add Justin Baldoni and Rainn Wilson (did I mention I don't usually watch network TV?) and now we have a creative, relevant yet spiritual swat team that leaves no room for whining and moaning any more.

These fellas- and many more I'm sure I'll run into- now that I've proclaimed myself a network TV virgin, have brought me back from the dead. They give a tutu (that's grandmother in Hawaiian) reason to jump for joy and shout hoorah for the younger generation!

Our future is firmly placed in the hands of today's jr. youth and youth. The above mentioned fellas plus David Faroz Precht (don't know how young he is, though) are making it cool again to discuss the "big questions" in life.

Please treat yourself to a SoulPancake and lift your spatufist (not fistula) in triumph!

What is SoulPancake?

Sunday, March 8, 2009

Hi. I’m Rainn Wilson. I’m an actor. I helped create this here Web site, SoulPancake.

What is SoulPancake? Well, it’s more of a mission than a Web site...

We want to make discussions about Spirituality, Creativity, and Philosophy cool again. Were they ever cool? I have no idea. But it seems like a good idea. We want to engage the user to “Chew on Life’s Big Questions”™. (I was kidding about the ™ symbol; you can use that phrase however you want. Even to sell frozen taquitos.) Where do you go on the Interwebs if you want an irreverent, fun, and profound take on God and Art and the Soul and Faith and Beauty? Fox.com? Maybe. But maybe also here at SoulPancake.com.
We provide some rockin’ content (interviews, blogs, challenges, contests, features, and more), but it’s really all about having YOU—the SoulPancake community—bring this site to life. Say what’s on your mind. Be real. Talk about WHY WE’RE HERE. And if I say something that offends you, let me have it.
Just remember: Life is a rich, weird, difficult experience. So join us as we go on the spiritual and artistic journey that is SoulPancake.
Rainn

Very inspiring videos! Thanks, Liz.

I guess the reason I have balked when it comes to Bahai is the name, Bahai. It sounds so exotic and foreign to me. Like the Hare Krishnas. Exotic sounding and exotic behavior.

Obviously, there is a lot I don't know about Bahai. Do your children subscribe to this religion, too?

The first step for anyone is the independent investigation of Truth.
I'm delighted to share with receptive souls.
That goes for the kids too :-)
