Brighter Days

Yesterday was a day of anticipation- Hurricane/Tropical Storm/Depression Felicia was on my mind.

The sky was beautiful on my drive home.

Just when I thought it was safe to relax, #1son called to say the fish were biting. So #2 and #3 sons jumped in the car with me to go night fishing.
By the time we got there, it was a whitewash. BUT, it was nice being out and doing something with all 3 sons!
Speaking of Rotary (It's Tuesday night- must be a Rotary night!), we had another great meeting tonight.

Kerry Yamaguchi, our Rotary Exchange Student leaving soon for Korea, stopped by with his dad to say ciao for now! Our guest speaker was Lt. Col. Glenn Kagawa, USAFR

Of course the food was outstanding. If you are in the neighborhood, RUN, don't walk to the Grove Cafe at Waimea Plantation Cottages while their introductory prices are still on. The plate on the right was the BIGGEST porterhouse steak I have ever seen on Kauai. 3 of us nibbled on the tenderloin side and were FULL!
